THE HUGH KENNER PROFESSORSHIP
The Hugh Kenner Professorship at the University of Georgia has been established to support scholars who pursue a creative, interdisciplinary approach to the study of English literature in the spirit of Dr. Kenner, whose work bridged the humanities with mathematics, technology, and the sciences.
The Hugh Kenner Professorship will support three years of travel and further research for an assistant or associate professor of English who emodies the wide-ranging interests, creative energy, and intellectual ambition of Dr. Kenner.
